Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God without error and is sufficient for the Christian life. (2 Tim. 3:16, 1 Thess. 2:13)

  2. We believe in one God, who is the Creator of all things. We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three in one. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, Col. 1:15-19)

  3. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross to pay the debt of sin that we could not pay. He arose on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. (Matt. 16:16, Luke 1:34-35, Heb. 9:28, Rev. 1:7, John 14:1-3, 1 Cor. 15:3-4)

  4. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but the blood of Jesus alone provides atonement and redemption for all who believe on him. (Rom. 3:23, 1 Peter 2:24)

  5. We believe God creates each person as male or female in His image. We believe rejecting God’s designed image is a rejection of God. (Genesis 1:26)

  6. We believe God’s design for marriage is one man and one woman for life. (Genesis 2:24)

  7. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, convicts, and compels believers toward living a godly life for His glory. (John 14:26, John 16:13-14, 1 Cor. 3:16)

  8. We believe all believers are united as children of God who are to work together for the glory of God. (1 Cor. 1:10, Gal. 3:28)
